About Hector Orozco-Perez, Aerial Technologies
Hector Orozco-Perez is an engineer who develops products based on AI
algorithms for the healthcare in the start up Aerial Technologies
(Montreal, Canada). In his free time, he volunteers as QueerTech’s
Director of Data, a non-profit organization that provides resources and
guidance to queer people to navigate the world of tech. completed a
Music Production Engineering degree in Mexico City (new generation
degree that combines electrical engineering and music production), and a
masters in computational neuroscience at McMaster University (Hamilton,
Canada). Hector has received different scholarships (NSERC CREATE
Graduate Fellowship) as well as grants to develop community projects
(Ontario Brain Institute’s grant to organize a neurotechnology
hackathon).
