About Debanjan Borthakur, AIYogi
Debanjan Borthakur is the co-founder and CTO of AIYogi, an AI-based
virtual trainer for yoga practitioners, and people with motor
disabilities. Debanjan designs algorithms, user interfaces, and
applications of real-time motion tracking with a phone's camera, and the
virtual trainer provides instant feedback for posture correction.
Debanjan received his Bachelor's degree from Dibrugarh University
(India) and a Master's degree in neuroscience (Univ Rhode Island). He
has held industry internships (MUVIC) and AIYogi was selected in the
finals startup competition by Forge McMaster, where he is pursuing a
Master's degree.
